How to Start your Job Search

As students prepare to either enter the workforce or continue onto graduate work, Penn State offers support and advice through Career Services. Just as advisers help students prepare for graduation, Career Services helps students prepare for what comes after graduation.

Next, students also have access to online and live events and workshops through the Career Services website.

In addition, Career Services periodically offers Counselor Education (CN ED) 303, a class that helps students prepare with information helpful for entry into education and alternative job markets.

A Career Guide that walks students through all of the available services, as well as provides information to help students navigate the career planning process is available to students.

Of course, the Career Services website itself is a resource, full of tips, tools, and support for students preparing to move on after graduation.

Finally, students have the opportunity to take advantage of the counseling services through Career Services.

Penn State students have an excellent, nationally recognized Career Services office and are encouraged to use the services.
