Dr. Shirley Woika is a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist.  She began her career as a teacher with certificates in both elementary and special education.  She earned a PhD in School Psychology and gained additional experience as a school psychologist.  After completing a special education supervisory certificate and earning her superintendent’s letter of eligibility, she gained supervisory experience as a special education supervisor and central office administrator.  After 24 years in schools, she joined Penn State’s School Psychology Program as a faculty member where she teaches courses in assessment, psychopathology, school law, and supervision, and she supervises students in the on-site clinic and practicum placements.
