  • CRCC: Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification.
  • Disability Statistics Center: the purpose of the Disability Statistics Center is to produce and disseminate statistical information on disability and the status of people with disabilities in American Society and to establish and monitor indicators of how conditions are changing over time to meet their health, housing, economic and social needs.
  • Independent Living Centers: independent Living Centers are typically non-residential, private, non-profit, consumer-controlled, community-based organizations providing services and advocacy by and for persons with all types of disabilities. Their goal is to assist individuals with disabilities to achieve their maximum potential within their families and communities.
  • National Council on Disability: the NCD is an independent federal agency making recommendations to the President and Congress on issues affecting 54 million Americans with disabilities.
  • National Rehabilitation Counseling Association:a professional association and division of the National Rehabilitation Association. NRCA represents professionals in the field of rehabilitation counseling in a wide variety of work settings.
  • Pennsylvania Rehabilitation Council: a statewide citizens group created to advise the Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) about how well its programs and services match the needs of people with disabilities.
