#3 HUB-Robeson Center Graduate Assistant


Assist in coordinating effective delivery of services and be trained in the HUB- Robeson Center and Schwab Auditorium’s audio-visual systems and event management practices. Be trained in CollegeNet, the space reservation system. Run reports from the reservation system in order to assist in monitoring client requests and manage daily work flow. Assist with the supervision of student staff including participation in regular meetings of the student employee supervisor committee; updating and continuing to develop training manuals; fostering and developing student learning of protocols and procedures and coordinating weekend scheduling. Assist students, both individuals and student organizations, in developing and executing events. Assist with the delivery of event services; participate in regular event services meetings; follow-up with client problems; communicate with event management regarding client needs; attend campus administrative and organizational meetings, orientations programs, and workshops as deemed appropriate.

Special Qualifications

Excellent oral and written communication skills; multitasking abilities; ability to work with diverse groups of people; strong working knowledge of computer operations; ability to train staff in a variety of skills; excellent organizational abilities.
