KayLynn Hamilton

KayLynn has been an adult education practitioner since 1992. She joined the ISAL staff in 2001 as a staff member of ISAL's workforce education programs. KayLynn serves as the Workforce Education Liaison for the Pennsylvania Department of Education Bureau of Postsecondary and Adult Education Division of Adult Education. In this position, KayLynn is primarily responsible for providing leadership to the development of effective local partnerships with workforce development and postsecondary partners, including Local Workforce Investment Boards, PA CareerLink®, Career and Technical Education and community colleges. She also leads the technical support effort for the implementation of the Division's Career Pathways for Adults initiative. Additionally, KayLynn is responsible for assisting the Division in aligning workforce development initiatives through training and support for, and through interaction and regional planning with Division staff, PDS staff, and targeted ABLE initiatives. Additional responsibilities include the development of recommendations to ABLE policy and the identification of opportunities to build relationships and linkages with key stakeholders in the Commonwealth's workforce development system.

Areas of interest include professional development and workforce development as they relate to adult basic education, particularly career pathways.
