The program is designed to help professionals understand the key components of family literacy (two-generation approach to learning). Course topics include:

Penn State's online Certificate in Distance Education is an 12-credit certificate program designed to enhance the professional expertise of persons involved in teaching or planning instruction through the medium of distance education. These credits can be applied toward either a master's degree or a doctorate in adult education. Course topics include:
